Working Keeps Students Busy During Break

While students enjoy and relax during the Thanksgiving break others have to work at their part-time jobs.

“It doesn’t matter to me, it is what it is,” junior Krystal Gbadegesin said. “I need to make money.”

Since she wants to focus on school, Gbadegesin, who works at Panda Express, said she does not have time during the weekends to work.

“It’s the best time for me, since school is out,” she said.

Junior Joy Tama, who works at Michael’s, said she needs the money to put gas in her tank.

“I know I’m going to hate it because I want to hang out with my friends but I have responsibilities,” she said.

After working at MN Seaside Grill for three months, Junior Bradyn Harper said his job is great.

“I’m getting money for doing nothing so (I) am fine with it,” he said. “It’s awesome because I’m just chilling.”
