The Life Of Racks is an EP made by the new up-and-coming artist Punk Racks and has recently been gaining a lot of traction after the release of this EP. He mixes the genres of punk music and rage rap into his music, incorporating a real punk star in the rap scene. He also dropped a single, “Lost In L.A.,” before he released this EP, which has a more relaxed and melodic sound compared to his normal rage sound. Punk Racks is only at the beginning of his career, as he is only just starting to get his recognition and hasn’t fully mastered his own personal style of making music as of yet.
Punk Racks first started getting his recognition from going into TikTok comment sections and posting his own Spotify profile under posts about underground artists like Che, Osamason, Bleood, etc. This caused many people to have mixed feelings and emotions toward him and his music because not everyone enjoys that type of promotion, and whilst it may be annoying to people, it ended up working in his favor because it started to snowball off this promotion method. He is one of the first artists to start this wave of promotion for many other underground artists to follow his steps to comment on their Spotify profile under every post they see to promote their own music.
I started to listen to his music after he released the song “Gun Point” on Dec. 15, 2025. The reason why I started listening after he dropped this song is that this song was produced by Zoot who has worked with artists like Nettspend on songs like “We not like you,” “drankdrankdrank” and “16.” This personally interested me because I really love Zoot’s production on the songs listed and haven’t heard much from him in a long while, so I knew I had to check out Punk Racks.
Punk Racks also produces his own music, as he does for others. He produced for Solid Saint on a song called “Puppet Master.” His production is talented, and considering that he’s rapping on his own beats and has his own very unique and distinct voice, it differentiates him from other artists who just try to borderline plagiarize bigger artists, like how RainingLol is with Che.
Punk Racks is now starting his career. Compared to how many other underground artists are and their “inspirations,” he manages to actually maintain his own personality and uses punk music and incorporates it into his own rap. Many people have done it before, but not as cleanly as he does it. Definitely give this EP a listen and try it out because 2026 will definitely be the year Punk Racks blows up and gets even more recognition he deserves.
