Former One Direction member and pop singer, Harry Styles teased his fourth studio album after four years of taking a break from the music industry. He has left fans on their feet, pondering what else comes behind this album. Whether it’s a world tour or merchandise, fans are ready to do anything to get back a piece of him.
On Jan. 12, 2026, Styles began to tease the album through his online website. The link allowed fans to sign up and fill out contact information like emails and phone numbers to receive messages from HSHQ for updates. A day later, supporters around the world began to see posters hung around their hometowns and cities. The poster’s message stated in big bold letters, “We Belong Together” along with a small note in the right corner saying “See you soon,” building up excitement for fans. This is not the first time Styles has marketed new music like this; in fact he has done this with previous studio albums.
Then on Jan. 14, HSHQ sent out a 5-second audio clip through messages to fans, where Styles sings the exact words “We Belong Together.” As if the teasing couldn’t get any better, the branding left many star struck and fully assured that the singer is definitely making a comeback with new music.
The build up to the album was tense and spontaneous, as Styles released the album announcement on social media on Jan. 15. The message regarding his new music sent a picture of his album cover and name, stating “Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally. The new album by Harry Styles available March 6th.” Additionally, a link was also sent for fans to pre-order merchandise such as limited edition vinyls, CD’s, shirts, and sets that come with a camera, fanny pack, and CD. Most of the items sold out in minutes. The release of his album was soon talked about all over social media, leaving supporters to feel an adrenaline rush over what their eyes were witnessing.
Over the course of the day, followers began to suspect future tour dates, mentioning how difficult it will be to conquer tickets for shows. Many believe this due to his Instagram post gaining over one million likes in just 21 minutes of being published. Although this may be a challenge, fans are willing to do whatever it takes to hopefully see him perform live in the future.
As a huge Harry Styles fan myself, the week was intriguing and thrilling due to the build up of the announcement. It brought me delight that no other artist possibly could. After four years of yearning for something new, it’s exciting to hear that your favorite music artist is bringing back music to fulfill your heart. With that being said, in two months, the album will be out and ready to change people’s lives once again.
