‘Tis the season with the return of the renowned Starbucks holiday menu. After wrapping up their fall menu drinks, baristas prepared for the wave of festive drink enthusiasts. Familiar drinks and pastries are back with the addition of a few new items.
The peppermint mocha is a worldwide popular holiday drink that has peppermint-flavored syrup and sweet mocha sauce. It makes its return along with the Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. Absent from the holiday offerings is the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha that made its debut during the 2017 holiday season.
Welcoming a cozy blend of spices, the new Iced Gingerbread Oat Milk Chai combines Gingerbread and Creamy Oat Milk. Despite Chai being a popular choice, the gingerbread wasn’t a good combination.
Starbucks has made the addition of a holiday Oleato drink, which is infused with extra virgin olive oil. The Gingerbread Oat Milk Latte which has subtle hints of citrus flavors, is only available in stores that serve Oleato drinks.
Holiday pastries and treats such as the Gingerbread Loaf, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish and Snowman Cookie are also back. The Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop returns after being officially discontinued in 2019, with its white-chocolatey frosting and festive crushed candy cane pieces. However, a few fan favorites are missing like the Chocolate Pistachio Swirl and Reindeer Cake Pop.
Aside from the drinks and pastries, Starbucks fans are ready to purchase this year’s top gifts. Introducing new designs, the Poinsettia Red Prism and the Iridescent Winter White are reminiscent of a Christmas Winter in a cold cup. Ribbon tumblers stun in new merry patterns. These portable cups are available in Lime Green, Bubblegum Pink and Icicle Blue.
Don’t miss out on these celebrated beverages. This menu only lasts until the second week of January. Visit your local Starbucks now to enjoy holiday drinks and pastries to get you in the spirit.
