The annual Clubapalooza event, where students can learn about and join different clubs, was held on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, in the Commons during lunch.

“Theater has people from all different types of clubs that come together on stage to make this idea and realm that’s never been done before,” senior Lauren Garza said.

The choice of clubs ranges from the Writing Club to those involving a different culture.

“Timberview African Student Association (TASA) provides a place to make friends while still being culturally inclined,” senior Charles Quaye said. “We’re the only cultural club at Timberview.”

The event was sponsored by Student Council.

“Clubapalooza is an opportunity for students to promote their organizations, as well as getting others involved,”  Student Council Sponsor Heather Colburn said. “Young adults involved in extracurricular activities are more likely to stay out of trouble, stay in school, be successful and are happier overall.”
