In order to fundraise for senior scholarships, the PTSA will host two haunted houses, for the first time, at the school on Oct. 29.

“One of our board members brought up the idea, and we all agreed something fun and new would be great to add to the events,” PTSA Board Member Teresa Tamez said.

The haunted houses will have a maze, scary halls and differently themed classrooms, ending with concessions in the Commons.

“People can look forward to a variety of different things happening around them,”
Student Committee Head Alaydra Dixon said. “We hope to make this a really fun experience.”

The prices for tickets are $3 for The Maze-tastic and $8 for Terrors.

“I’m glad the tickets are affordable,” sophomore Andrew Nguyen said.

The Maze-tastic, which will be for children, will be held in the library from 4-6 p.m., and Terrors will be held in the halls from 8-10 p.m.

“We are excited because this is our first year to have a haunted house,” Tamez said. “We encourage all and students and staff to come out.”
