With scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-15, the Waxahachie Indians defeated the Wolves in three sets last Friday.

“We knew (Waxahachie) was a hard team to beat,” senior Tyah Williams said. “We put everything we had into it, and in the end we fell short.”

Junior Katelyn Nwonamah said the lack of energy from the team resulted in the loss.

“We started out the game slow, so changes can be made,” she said.

The final game of the season will be tomorrow in the Varsity Gym at 6:30 p.m., against the Lake Ridge Eagles.

“I know my team is sad we didn’t make playoffs,” senior Taylor Coleman said. “We have to make the best of what we got. We’re going to fight for this last win.”
