With a score of 35-21, the Varsity Football Team lost to the Lancaster Tigers last Friday night at Lancaster.

“I’m really disappointed just in the way we went out there and performed,” Coach Guy Humes said.

Humes said they didn’t play the game with a lot of passion.

He said, “I felt like we lost the game more than they won the game.”

By halftime the score was 14-20.

“The mood going into (halftime) was shocking because we were down,” Running Back Travonne Armstead said. “I believed that we would find a way to comeback and win the game.”

The next game will be a home conference game against Lake Ridge at Newsome Stadium at Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m.

Defensive End Deandre Holloway said, “All we can do this next game is play harder and stay into it.”
