The wind is crisp and the leaves are changing colors, signaling fall is here and there are many things to love about it.

Scarves- whether it’s just to keep your neck warm or to be an accent piece in your outfit, scarves are a personal favorite of many and absolutely perfect for this time of the year. They have cycled back in fashion because of the patterns and colors they can be found in, while also being pretty inexpensive. Scarves are trendy, cute and perfect accents for fall themed outfits.

Sweaters- did your after school nap turn into an all night slumber? Even though you didn’t have enough time to pick out your outfit last night, you can still be cute and comfortable in a sweater or hoodie. They’re both great for keeping warm as fall evolves into winter and they are super comfy for class. Sweaters come in many designs and fabrics that can give you comfortable diversity all throughout the cold months.

Pumpkins- you know fall has begun when your neighbors have pumpkins on their doorstep. They are the face of fall, whether they’re carved or baked into a delicious pie topped with whipped cream. Many families go to pumpkin patches or church drives to pick out the perfect pumpkin. Carving and decorating them are a tradition in many households plus Pumpkin Pie is a Thanksgiving classic.

Warm Drinks- a warm drink is refreshing on any cold day. They are perfect for warming you up on the inside and silencing those shivers from the harsh winds of fall, and there are endless options with Pumpkin Spice lattes, Hot Chocolate and Coffee. Make sure you try the traditional flavors at Starbucks.

Fall Festivals- festivals are community events that are great because you can spend time with family and friends. Many are themed and consist of pumpkins, food trucks and great times for family. Some of the most popular festivals that take place are the North Texas Fall Festival and River Legacy’s Dark in the Park.
