Final Two Teams to Face Off in Last Dodgeball Tournament

In an effort to raise money for HOG Week, a Dodgeball Tournament was held on Tuesday night.

“It was tiring trying not to get out,” sophomore Ofegor Oweh said. “I just wanted my team to win so I refused to give up.”

Junior Trey Bolton said he had fun watching the tournament .

“It was my first time and I thought it was going to be boring, but I enjoyed myself,” he said.

Team Captain Chuck Harris competed with his track team.

“It was really fun, and one of the better ways to raise money,” he said. “I wish I was able to do it again next year.”

Sophomore Ashire Rhodes said he had a blast.

“I can’t wait until next year so I can get a second chance at the title and redeem myself,” he said.

The final two teams will face off during Friday’s Closing Ceremony during ninth block.

“I feel great about my teams’ accomplishment,” sophomore Eldric Bulley said. “Everyone doubted us but at the end we won a ticket to the finals.”
