In order for students to be more organized, an AVID station has been set-up in the library.

“The stations are equipped with industrial 3-hole punchers, Cornell notes, planner pages and other classroom essentials,” AVID Head Coordinator Katrina Smith said.

The station is available to all students.

“The carts are decorated and organized to let students know about this new school wide resource,” Smith said.

Junior Luis Camacho, who is in AVID, said it could really be useful.

He said, “In case I fall behind or I need to get stuff done it really helps.”

This station is one of the items the school has added in hopes of becoming an AVID Demonstration School.

Smith said. “We are always looking for ways to provide resources and support for students in the classroom.”
