Theatre will perform “Romeo and Juliet,” on Oct. 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7 p.m.
“I chose Romeo and Juliet because I wanted a dramatic, classical play,” Fudge said. “I love the script and that is one of my favorite plays that I did in high school.”
The play will be on campus in the Fine Art section. Students must enter through the theater entrance.
“I encourage everybody to watch because It is going to be a great play and the fight (scenes) are the best thing,” Fudge said.
The show is suitable for all ages to watch.
“The show is PG but there are fights and blood in the show but it is going to be minimal,” Fudge said.
The fight scene is expected to be the most engaging part of the play.
“The fight scenes are really great,” Fudge said. “There are a couple of death scenes, so it is going to be exciting.”
Alex Silerio was announced as the main character and will be playing Romeo.
“I was confident in my audition even though I had some good competition going against me,” Silerio said. “But it is a really good cast, we work well together and it is going to be a really good show.”
