In an effort to raise funds for HOG week, a soccer game was held at the track field last Wednesday.

“I enjoyed the friendly competition, but it didn’t matter who won, everyone knew the truth was to raise funds,” Assistant Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Damon Miller said.

Team Arsenal made it to the second round.

“We should’ve communicated more and listened to each other,” senior Eddie Campos said.

The team Bench Warmers won the game 4-1.

“The whole point of this (event) is to donate and the fact that we can do it in a fun way makes it great,” junior Alex Torres said.

Campos said although his team didn’t win, it was worth participating in the game.

He said, “It was pretty fun and better that being at home not doing anything good for a good cause.”
