Gravity is Out of This World
The movie “Gravity” is a Sci-Fi suspense thriller set in space. Produced by Alfonso Cuarón, it stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. The film will have viewers glued to their seats in awe as they stare endlessly toward the screen. Not a single moment of this movie should be missed.
Once it starts, fans will be taken aback by the effort and flawless execution that was put into making the movie. “Gravity” looks like it was actually filmed in space. It was just what you would expect in a space expedition gone wrong. Utter chaos, dismay, and the ever-looming fear of getting sucked out of the spaceship and into the black vacuum beyond will send shivers down your spine.
As the film begins, a satellite is hit by a stray meteorite and the debris begin to fly rapidly through space. A crew of five astronauts lay directly in the path of the space rubble. They are hit hard by the debris. Only two crew members survive, Captain Kowalski (Clooney) and Doctor Stone (Bullock). They use Kowalski’s jet pack to get to a Russian space station, only to crash into it. Panic ensues.
I don’t want to give away anymore. This movie has been tops at the box office for weeks due to the constant word of mouth. Spend the extra money and see it in 3D. It is more than worth the money.
“Gravity” offers an edge of your seat, intense feeling and is a true suspense movie. Once the movie started rolling, I couldn’t turn away from the exhilarating scenes displayed on the screen. I would definitely watch it again at any time. Overall, Gravity gets a 5 out of 5 in my review.
