The Girls Varsity Basketball team won 85-45 against the Corsicana Tigers to become Area Champs on Feb. 18.

“It feels good to be Area Champs,” sophomore Lauryn Thompson said. “We are getting closer to our main goal.”

The Wolves have increased their impressive undefeated streak to 32-0 and junior Trelynn Tyler is feeling the pressure to win.

“It’s hard to keep going undefeated and finish it all, but we have gotten better together and made it this far,” junior Trelynn Tyler said.

The next game will be against Legacy at Lake Ridge High School tonight at 7 p.m.

“Everybody has came into the season ready to work hard,” junior Hailee Walls said. “ We are closing in on our goal of winning state.”
