Prom has always been one of the most important events for teenagers. However, searching for that amazing dress or that perfect tux can be extremely stressful, and with that special night just around the corner, there’s no time waste. So, this list should help you find the perfect outfit.

If you are looking to get a dress/tux online this is the list for you. Be sure to get fitted first so that you won’t be disappointed when your outfit doesn’t fit well.

  1. The Prom Girl site also stocks dresses for homecoming, quinceaneras, sweet 16’s and many other special occasions. Their dress sizes run from petite to plus so there should be no trouble in finding a dress for you. Most of the time, the dress you select will be shipped to you within one business day. And most importantly, their prices are pretty reasonable.

  1. Porter has some of the best suits to offer. This site offers suits from Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and so many bigger named brand clothing companies. If the prices for the suits is a little too costly for your funds, you can always use the inspiration from their site to find the right suit for you!

  1. At Fame and Partners, you can customize your dress however you want. Each selection featured on the site comes in up to size 22. Because they use more natural materials, this company offers unparalleled choice without harming the Earth. Plus, for every $5 you spend, the company gives to women empowerment charities.

  1. Similar to Fame and Partners, I Tailor allows you to design your very own suit. It takes about six weeks to make, so if you plan on using this site, now is the time to order. They have been in the tailoring business for four decades by operating their own production facility.

I know that not everyone wants to shop online because just about anything can go wrong with your order. However, some of you may want to actually try on outfits and look through what you want in person, so here is a list of places to go.

  1. The prom dresses at Terry Costa are absolutely gorgeous. If I didn’t already have a prom dress picked out, I would’ve looked here first. At Terry Costa you don’t have to worry about booking appointments because you can walk right on in. Getting a custom dress is also available in shop as well as on their website. The shop can be found at 12817 Preston Road, Suite 138 in Dallas.

  1. At ISW-Menswear, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The selection and prices are unbeatable. The employees know what you need and won’t waste your time. Whether you’re looking to buy or rent, they will try their absolute best to accommodate your needs. Their address is 710 Interstate-20 in Arlington.

  1. All of the dresses at Windsor are very beautiful. Although some of the staff members weren’t so helpful, you should have no problem finding the right dress. The selection isn’t as great as Terry Costa, but on their website, they have endless selections. With that being said, I would check their website first and see if anything catches your attention. When you go in store, request to have the dress brought to their location if it is not already featured in store. The store can be found in The Parks at Arlington.

  1. Men’s Wearhouse offers brand-name formal tuxedos and casual attire with shoes and accessories to go along with it. Just as ISW does, they offer rentals. At this location, they give you the option to have a custom tux made to your liking. They also have master tailors and expert stylist at your disposal. You can do a walk in or book an appointment at 951 W, Interstate-20 Suite 101, Arlington.
