The winter musical “Tarzan”, presented by the Fine Arts Department, will be Jan. 21-23, at 7 p.m., in the Mansfield PAC.

“I knew that we were going to be at the PAC,” Head Director Melissa Danforth said. “I wanted to do something real big. I wanted a big set and I wanted to fill the audience up.”

Tech Director Stephanie Dunaway said she is excited about the cast getting to fly during the show.

“I’m really glad that the play Tarzan was chosen and we’re doing a show where we could fly people,” she said.

The cast has been rehearsing for the past four months.

“It’s been a process but with the (holiday) breaks in-between, it hasn’t felt that long,” Megee said.

Dunaway said she is eager for audiences to see the show.

“I’m excited for everyone to see that (our school) has so many talented students,” she said. “They can sing, they can dance and they can jump off things fearlessly.”

The musical will be unforgettable, Megee said.

“Everyone should come see the show, It’s a really great story,” she said. “Everyone pretty much knows the story of Tarzan, plus a lot of magical things are going to happen.”
