Mansfield’s boutique-style ice cream shop is making waves across social media. Tucked away just off Country Club near Matlock, this hidden treasure is definitely worth checking out. The made-from-scratch ice cream shop announces brand-new flavors every week on their Instagram, boasting unique combinations to choose from like Chocolate Cupcake Cookies and Cream or Vanilla Blueberry Pancake filled with chunks of pancake, scoops of blueberry pie filling and a drizzle of maple syrup.  

Open Wednesday through Sunday, this non-traditional ice cream shop serves its desserts in containers instead of cones. Choose your handcrafted ice cream from two available sizes; 6 oz for $4 and 1 pint for $10. I recommend the pint so you have plenty to snack on later. But if you see a flavor you like listed on social media, don’t wait, because once it’s sold out, it’s gone! And if you haven’t been there before, the staff is very friendly and will walk you through their flavors and offer their recommendations on personal faves. 

The shop may be tiny and in an office building but it has so much to offer. In fact, the shop was closed for the majority of the summer to expand its kitchen to bring even more flavors and services to the area. Getcha Sum offers catering for events and home delivery through DoorDash. While there are only a couple of chairs inside, the cute and convenient packaging makes it the perfect to-go snack.
