Two new gaming consoles set to be released on Nov. 12

To kick off the new holiday season, two new gaming consoles are set to be released in November. Below is the most up-to-date information on the systems.  

PS5 

  • Pre-orders went live on Sept. 17, during the first few minutes the PS5 sold out instantly. The traffic caused many retailer websites to crash. It will be released on Nov. 12.
  • Pre-orders were available on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target.
  • It has faster loading times with an ultra-high speed, support with feedback, adaptive triggers, a white and black color scheme with a matching controller and 3D Audio.
  • The cost of the PS5 is $500, with the digital version costing $400.
  • The games that will go with the new console are Marvel’s Avengers, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and NBA 2K21.  

Xbox Series X 

  • Microsoft is also launching their new console which is the Xbox Series X to 12 countries on Nov. 10. Pre-orders started Sept. 22. 
  • Xbox Series is an all digital gaming console that has faster loading times, higher frame rates, better graphics, their slimmest design ever and comes with a ultra high speed HDMI cable and power cord. 
  • Stores that will be selling the Xbox series X are the Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Newegg and other retailers. The cost of the new Xbox series X is $500 with the digital edition being $300. 
  • The Xbox Series X has over 100 hundred games you can download from the cloud like Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite, FIFA 21 and NBA 2K21.
  •  The Xbox series X comes with the game pass ultimate and gives PC members an EA play membership at no additional cost.
