Haunted Houses to Visit this Weekend

Haunted houses are always a good idea during this time of the year. If you’re looking for a scare, check out the list below.

Slaughterhouse is hosting a joint haunted house with J&F House of Terror (at 855 Wall St., Suite B., in Garland). Their 16 years of pure terror is open Thursday-Sunday from 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. On Halloween, it’s open from 8 p.m.- 2 a.m. The cost for a regular ticket is $25 and for a VIP ticket it is $40.

Tayman Graveyard Haunted Theme park presents “The Children of Samsara,” located at 4721 Cecilia Avenue in Midlothian. On the 30, it is open 8 p.m.-11 p.m. The tickets are $20, with a donation of two canned goods for the food bank and without cans it is $25.

If you’re into the Walking Dead, then come out and visit the Zombie Manor (7501 U.S. Frontage Rd, Arlington). It is open on Thursday from 6 p.m. -11 p.m., Friday- Saturday from 6 p.m.- 12 a.m., and the kids venue is on Sundays from 3 p.m. -6 p.m.. On Halloween the house will be open from 6 p.m.- 12 a.m. The ticket prices are $25 for general admission.

Cutting Edge Haunted House (1701 E. Lancaster Ave) is often voted one of the most terrifying haunted houses in the U.S. General admission is $33 and a timed-ticket is $43. Dates run Oct. 26-31, and Nov. 4-5.

Moxley Manor Haunted House (510 Harwood Rd) includes two haunted houses at one location for one price. The admission is $23, while the fast pass is $30. It is open Fridays at 8 p.m. – 12  a.m., Saturday 7:30 p.m. – 12 a.m., and on weekdays 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
