Paramore Takes Crowd By Surprise

Paramore shocks the audience with a show to remember.

Paramore took the crowd by surprise at Verizon Center last weekend during their self-titled tour by dramatically dropping the black curtain and broke out into their new hit song “Grow Up”. Not only was lead singer Hayley Williams red hair on fire, but also her vocal chords singing 21 songs back to back with a minimum of six breaks.

Although the opening acts Hellogoodbye and Metric played their heart out, the audience wasn’t enthusiastic and were more engaged with their smart phones than the actual performance.

The band performed not only hits from their new album Paramore but also old favorites from their previous albums Riot!, All We Know Is Falling and Brand New Eyes. Williams guided the anxious crowd using her powerful vocal to the beginning of “That’s What You Get”. It wasn’t until “Crushcrushcrush” that the whole crowd rose to their feet and danced along to the adored song.

At the end of “Ain’t it Fun” the band astonished the audience by bringing out a local high school choir to sing the chorus, but it wasn’t until their new popular single “Still Into You” that the audience’s jaw drop as blue and yellow balloons showered the stage.

Overall, the concert was a rollercoaster of excitement from the vibrant lights to the loud booming instruments. The concert was not only a show but an experience.
